Finishing Strong!

Our fourth grade boys basketball season came to an end today in Perham at the Spring Fling Tournament.

As much as I am ready to take a break from sitting on the bleachers, I am sad that it's over!

It's been so much fun to watch these boys grow and progress after each and every game.

They really take the word T.E.A.M. to a whole new level!

I have said it before and I will say it again, there isn't really a stand out star on their team, they all play so in sync together!

I am going to let their photos tell the story of their day...

but I'll put this photo first so you know why the Pelican Rapids 4th grade boys are smiling pretty big tonight!

A Time for Firsts

Our family became fans of a whole new sport this morning.

If today was any indication, I have a feeling that this will be a sport that we will be getting to see a lot of in the coming years!

Lil' Miss had her very first volleyball tourney....I can't believe that she looks so BIG in this photo ...

At breakfast this morning, before we left for the gym she kept repeating, "I just want to make it over the net, I just want to make it over the net."

Well, she did better than that and made it over the net 4 times right at the end of their first game to clinch the win!

I was one proud mama!

When she puts her mind to something, there is no stopping her!

These little gals played some great games and learned a lot....

and when it was all said and done, the Pelican Orange team came out with a tie for 2nd place!

Cousin Love

There is nothing quite like the love of a cousin.

Yesterday these two little sweeties came over to play...
This isn't the best photo that I have ever taken of them, but I like it anyway!

Everyone was having so much fun playing that I didn't want to stop them for a photo...it seemed wrong to interrupt their happy playtime!

The little guy didn't last long with all the big kids and their crazy jumping games, this was about the only photo I snapped of him.

The other three, however, had a blast playing some game they named, 'Chicken'.

I had a great time just watching the action and snapping away!
