Day 29. 2012.

We are finally getting a taste of winter and are snowed in!

I decided to create an obstacle course with some toys that rarely get played with as a surprise for the kids.

Just as I suspected, it was a HIT!

We are going to have to do this more often, even the little guy got into the action and understood what we were doing.

It started out by picking up bean bags while hopscotching. DSC_5051 And onto a round of boxing glove basketball. DSC_5091 DSC_5012 DSC_5017 DSC_5056 They then had to try and knock over the block tower with some small balls. DSC_5092 And throw the football into the football guy (the little guy was the only one who made it!) DSC_5097 Last but not least, they had to climb onto the toy box and knock a balloon off the ceiling and then fall into a BIG pile of pillows and blankets on the floor. DSC_5031 DSC_5110 The best part about the whole thing was seeing this kind of happiness on my kids' faces. DSC_5083 Here's to making the most of a day spent being 'snowed' in!
